I am a Hodari Brother
"The business has made me feel much more confident in what I want and can do. I like working withmy peers and providing services to those who would like the "Hodari Brothers" to make t-shirts for company's. This business has made me grow. It has showed me how to be more responsible and mature as a teenager. I would like to see the "Hodari Brothers" to become a professional t-shirt business and to expand all over our country. These are my goals and desires for the Hodari Brothers."-DaQuan

My experience as a Hodari Brother...
"The Hodari Brothers business feels like a real job. I like everything about our business, because it is a job. I believe anyone can do it, because it is not too difficult. The business has made me more responsible. I have learned to work as a team with my Hodari brothers. We work hard to make sure each order is taken care of . In the future, I would like to see the business expand. I want our t-shirts to be well known among our community. I want our business to be seen in many places. "-Kerionne G.

The Hodari Brothers Screen Printing Co.
Beginning this past summer of 2009, our young men launced their t-shirt company by printing thier first shirt orders. This project began with education youth in these areas through a partnership with Yes Carolina to offer middle and high school students nationally recognized training with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and also through character-building curriculum. Currently, Metanoia offers 18 students daily after-school help and training in small business skills. The Hodari Brothers Screen Printing Company has been begun by the seven young men in our group of 18 middle and high school students. Hodari is a Swahili word meaning "powerful."
